TankStar MDx DNA Polymerase
TankStar MDx DNA polymerase has Hot-start function and resistance to inhibitor.
l Be improved in specificity and sensitivity, because of applying double mutation suitable for molecular diagnosis.
l In whole blood case, it has up to 10% resistance.
l Possible to do normal PCR, because it has various resistances to PCR inhibitor.
l Be improved in target’s specificity, because Hot-start function reduces non-specific amplification.
l Suitable for forensic medicine and diagnosis of diseases.
TankStar MDx DNA polymerase has resistance to inhibitor that causes false negative in molecular diagnosis, such as whole blood and soil. And also it is Taq DNA polymerase modified double mutation to get higher Hot-start function’s specificity. PCR is enzyme reaction, so it is sensitive to inhibitor, and these most inhibitors can be included in samples. Also when users prepare samples or extract DNA, it can be contaminated, so it is good to use genetically modified mutant Taq DNA polymerase, which is possible to amplification despite existence of PCR inhibitor in PCR reaction.
In whole blood case, TankStar MDx DNA polymerase has up to 10% resistance, and also its Hot-start function reduces non-specific amplification, so band’s specificity and sensitivity is high.
To achieve high-sensitivity mainly requested in molecular diagnosis, it achieved PCR buffering system optimally operated with mutant Taq DNA polymerase. As a result, target’s amplification factor has greatly increased, so it is possible to check results with a little DNA.
When target band is lightly amplified because of non-specific amplification, such as primer dimer, TankStar MDx DNA polymerase can be used as solution.
It is the optimum product in normal PCR, multiplex PCR, and study of diagnosing diseases.
